BTSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2021

Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has come out with 6338 posts of General Medical Officer and Specialist Medical Officer. Online applications for these posts have started from 4 May 2021. Candidates having MBBS degree and post graduate degree in medical field can apply for these posts. Candidates on these posts will be selected on the basis of examination.

Recruitment will be done on this number of posts 2632 posts of General Medical Officer and 3706 Specialist Medical Officers will be recruited. Specialist Medical Officers include 641 of Gynecologists, 18 of Microbiology, 307 of Physicians, 635 of Pediatricians, E.N.T. There are 111 posts of 75, Ophthalmologist, 86 of Pathology, 188 of Radiologists, 16 of Psychiatric, 935 of Anesthesia, 84 of Dermatologists, 568 of General Surgery and 42 posts of Orthopedic. Educational qualification 

Candidates applying to the posts of General Medical Officer should have an MBBS degree. On the other hand, candidates applying for the posts of Specialist Medical Officer should have a PG Diploma or degree in the relevant trade in addition to the MBBS degree. Age limit and application fee The maximum age of male candidates applying to these posts should be 37 years and the maximum age of female candidates should be 40 years. The reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age limit as per rules. Talking about the application fee, Rs 200 for General, OBC and EWS and Rs 50 for SC, ST and Divyang.
